Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!  It's gloomy here today, but my foster family's kids seem to be even more wound up today.  Foster Mom said it's because they started out the day with jelly beans instead of their normal breakfast.  Yesterday was a nice day and we spent some time outside.  I just laid there why the boys played until Foster Mom got the camera out then the boys wanted to be in the pictures!  I can't wait to spend next Easter with my Forever Family!

This is exhausting work...

Sunshine and Crates

We have had a few days of sunshine so Maci and I have been making the most of it.  Playing outside and running.  Foster Mom has also been working on my crating skills (I think I'm doing pretty darn good).  Other than that I've been taking this retirement thing pretty seriously, just kicking back and relaxing.

Ummm....the cute little person already has a forever home, but I'm still available!

Did you miss me?

I went to the adoptathon last Sunday and met a lot of really nice families, but none of them were the right fit for me.  So instead of heading to my forever home I got to go home with a new foster family and guess what...they have these little people called kids and I have a new crazy greyhound friend named Maci.  Just watching her makes me tired.

Meeting the new foster family is exhausting. I think I'll just lay here....

That's mah favorite song!!!

Sometimes, FoMa's machine of clicky-clacky (she calls it her laptop, but whatever, she needs to learn my names for things) makes funny noises.

But sometimes, it makes the song of my people.  I just can't help but to join in!

feed me. Feed me. FEED ME..

I've not been fed in less than 10 hours!  I need to eat FoMa!!!

I'm STTTTARRRRRVVVVVIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

FoMa did get up and feed me after this harassment.  She's a good FoMa.

First dog park visit!

Sleepin' Time!

Sometimes I'm quick on the draw when we all head upstairs for bed...  and the doggie beds upstairs (like all dog beds in the house) are first come first serve.  I've been getting better at getting the "master" bed (which is usually FoBro's).

All tucked in and ready for bed.

Alien dog will zap you.

Both alien dogs will zap you.

Sweet dreams future forever family!!!!

Meet and Greet Roos

Sometimes, we like to stir up the clientele at the meet and greets.

I'm gonna shine on Saturday.  I'm going to my forever home.  I can just feel it!

Socializin'

FoMa took Phil and I on a walk/jog and then we went over to her old neighbor's for dinner.  FoMa had to leave and come back with our dinner, but we got pettins while she was gone, so that was ok.

We were able to share the same space peacefully.
We're good puppies.

Then we needed naps from all the exercise and full bellies.

I'm ready to join your family, if you're ready to be my family!  Put your application in NOW!

Small dog friendly!

FoMa's sister came to visit and she brought her little weenie dogs with her.  I'm proud to announce that I'm small dog safe!

This is me and Judge (he's a extra-mini dachshund, he weighs less than 10 lbs!)

Dis is me and Noodles.  He's not very noodle-like at 25 lbs!

FoMa said we were like twins cause we're both brindle boys.

But, I'm tired.
So now its time for a cat GREYHOUND nap.

I'm ready to join my forever family.  Is it you?  It could be!

First Meet & Greet

Guys and Gals!  Let me just bark to you about how much fun I had last weekend at PetValu... OMG!  SO much funs!  I got to hang out with other greyhounds and get pettins from strangers and smell other dogs and show people how awesome greyhounds can be.

I did keep stepping on this one greyhound, but he was laying down on the job!
Also, Harvey was there and he's lookin' for his forever home like me!

Practicing my cuteness for the meet and greet.

We were helping FoMa navigate to PetValu after she stopped at the place with treats... (where she claims to have spent a small fortune on beef knuckles we've yet to receive.)

This is how greyhounds do it!
L2R: Phil, me (isn't that a snazzy bowtie?  I borrowed it from FoBro), Harvey (who is also looking for his forever home) and Miley

I hears a squeaky?!

B2F: Phil, Reina, me, Miley

They kept squeaking toys in the direction I was looking.  I was VERY interested.

Miley gave me an eskimo kiss.

Dis lady had lots of questions so we were putting on our best cuteness show.

L2R: Miley, me, Harvey

Miley was using me for a head rest.  She's a silly girl.

Dis is Reina.  She just found her forever home a few weeks ago!
She has some space issues, but we're workin' on that!

L2R: Miley, Harvey, Phil, me.

The boys.

Mr. Bruce was teasing me and Phil with da squeaky toys.

But he was actually just testing to see if we'd like them, cause he bought them for Phil and I.
I definitely approved!

FoMa getting kisses from Reina and Miley.

Harvey recently had some dental work.  I don't think he realized his tongue was hangin out.

Me using Phil as a head rest.  You can see how much he likes it.

Me and Miley

Phil with the squeaky toys.

On the way home we were pretty tired.

So, that was my first meet and greet!  It was so much fun!  Hopefully, my forever family will continue taking me to meet and greets when they happen in their area.

Are you my forever family?  You could be!  Fill out the application!!  Do it, do it!  Please, please please?!?!?!
